About The Position

Acuren is currently recruiting for NDT Assistants to support our operation in Denver, Colorado. We are currently seeking candidates based in the Denver, CO area or nearby. While we welcome applications from all qualified individuals, local candidates are preferred due to the nature of the role. Please note that this position requires the ability to travel up to 30%. NDT Assistants will assist in performing calibrations, Nondestructive Tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and record results.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be able to have experience, credentials and history to be certified as Trustworthy & Reliable to comply with federal and state regulations, as determined by a thorough background check
Motor Vehicle Driving record must meet company standards to drive company vehicles
Local to Denver, Commerce City, Colorado
Able to travel up to 30%

Nice To Haves

Some college preferred
Technical background desired
40 Hour Radiation Safety Training preferred
TWIC card preferred, or willingness and ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment
Assist Radiographers in the calibration of NDT equipment
Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
Record results of inspections
Assist performing NDT procedures, carrying equipment and other operations
Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management

Pay Transparency: As per applicable state law the job posting pay range is $15.15-$25.25 an hour depending on experience and applicable certifications.
