About The Position

The NDA Attorney works within a team setting and focuses exclusively on non-disclosure agreements for prospective transactions in accordance with an alternative asset manager client's detailed NDA guidelines. There is considerable client and other external contact.

Requirements

• J.D required.
• Must be barred in NY
• 3.0 cumulative GPA
• At least one year of experience with drafting and negotiating NDAs or other similar commercial agreements at a law firm or financial institution.
• Ability to work extended hours as needed.
• Proven ability to meet, and experience with meeting, tight deadlines, assume significant responsibilities, and see multiple projects with simultaneous, competing deadlines through to their conclusion.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Effective interpersonal and written communication skills, including ability to prepare written memoranda and correspondence.
• Excellent oral business communication skills, including experience with making and taking phone, video, and conference calls. Direct client contact experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to grasp and learn difficult legal and commercial concepts quickly.
