About The Position

Overview: Job Description Summary: Supports innovation projects developing medical technologies while participating in the Innovation Fellowship training program. Job Description: Essential Functions: Assists with the management of innovation projects from inception to commercialization, ensuring adherence to timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Provides technical expertise and engineering support for the development of pediatric medical devices, including prototyping, testing, and design. Facilitates effective communication and collaboration with clinical innovators, external partners, and internal teams. Participates in training programs focused on front-end innovation, human-centric observation techniques, needs identification, concept generation, and intellectual property strategy. Assists in developing regulatory and reimbursement strategies, as well as business plans for new medical technologies, including market analysis and customer discovery. Engages with medical innovators to identify unmet medical needs and opportunities for innovation through clinical immersion and observation Prepares and presents project documentation, including invention disclosures, grant applications, and progress reports, to support the commercialization process. Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field, required. Master’s Degree or PhD in Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering, or other engineering-related field, preferred. Skills: Comfort with ambiguity and complex problems. Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of professionals/disciplines. Strong communicator, both written and verbal. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field, required.
