The North County Center Coordinator position at Oregon Coast Community College involves providing support to various users of the North County Center in Lincoln City. This includes primary reception duties for students, faculty, and the general public, as well as administrative support to the Vice President of Engagement. The role requires occasional evening and weekend work, travel between college sites, and may involve overnight stays for training purposes. The position is classified as Coordinator II and is non-exempt, with a salary of $20.13 per hour.

  • Provides front-line reception and welcoming services, fielding questions and ensuring contact with appropriate personnel.
  • Orders office supplies and maintains supply inventory.
  • Processes materials that travel to and from North County Center and Central Campus.
  • Provides administrative support to the VP of Engagement.
  • Provides operational and technical support for media and equipment to faculty and instructors.
  • Proctors examinations for OCCC students and the general public.
  • Participates in and coordinates campus-wide student success phone campaigns.
  • Serves as a resource for the College's online data system, CNS - Student Information System.
  • Supports student technology distribution and return.
  • Assigns study rooms and coordinates room set-up for instruction and events.
  • Opens, closes, and secures the building.
  • Performs minor, routine facility maintenance.
  • Works with VPE to prepare Community Education course offerings.
  • Communicates with Community Education instructors to arrange course logistics.
  • Inputs student registration details into the student information data management system.
  • Assists with all aspects of office operations and communications for the Small Business Development Center.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum two years' experience in office administrative support services.
  • Associate degree in any field.
  • Previous experience working in a college or university in a front-office role.
  • Experience in developing and presenting written and graphic communications.
