Main Purpose: To nest parts to be cut by the Burning Machines, And to Coordinate Burning activities in the Plate Shop. Essential Functions: Nesting Piece Marked Plates form the Lofting Department Make sure that all parts are cut from the correct material. Make sure that all piece markings are on the corresponding pieces when cut. Make sure that daily maintenance records are kept on all NC Burning Machines. Make sure that all maintenance is completed on all NC Burning Machines Daily. Keeps records of plate inventors. Performs Overhead Crane inspections in the Plate Shop. Make sure that all cut parts are distributed to the correct job site. Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred Must pass a drug screen Must pass a physical Must pass a background check Desirable Experience/Training: Working knowledge of the practices and procedures of Cutting Machines and Computer Knowledge Tools, Equipment, and Technology: Floor Jack Hand torch Grinder Tape Measure Straight Edge Square Forklift experience a plus Environmental Conditions 80 to 90% of the work activities are performed outdoors.
