Hexcel is currently seeking a NC Operator 1 for our Pottsville, PA, USA location. The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations: Operate all NC machines, including Thermwoods Support all NC's by performing the final inspection of parts Loading/unloading parts and tools and part preparation Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment Maintain an accurate E-log, 5-S, and housekeeping to customer requirement Individuals could be asked to operate different machines on their shift Department or area specific expectations will be further defined by supervisor/manage. Individual will support team efforts and product process by performing any operation or tasks deemed necessary by customer requirements, team consensus, and/or supervisor/manager Works in a team environment to reach consensus decisions within the guidelines and boundaries established by the company, and maintains constructive relationships with co-workers

Requirements

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent
• Minimum of six months experience required, preferably in manufacturing
• Basic working knowledge of computer data entry function preferred
• Must be able to maintain a quality delegate stamp or attain and retain a quality delegate stamp
• Must follow all safety guidelines
• Must be a capable forklift operator
• Familiar with PC computer systems
• Possess good organizational and administrative skills
• Able to develop audit reports and write non-conforming records as required
• Eligible candidates must be a: U.S. citizen, U.S. national, person lawfully admitted for permanent residence, temporary resident under sections 210(a) or 245(A) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, person admitted in refugee status, or person granted asylum.
