About The Position
The ideal candidate will join our cutting-edge, technologically advanced media facility. As a production intern, you will be an integral part of the Boston Media Center Operations and Technology team, gaining comprehensive experience in live broadcast production. The experience will include learning about industry-specific technologies used to create live broadcasts, shadowing control room staff during execution of broadcasts including newscasts, sports talk shows, and live events, receiving hands-on training with Automated Production Control technology, assisting media operations with live feed coordination, Quality Control checks, and media management, and working in and coordinating across 5 studios across the Boston Media Center. The opportunity to assist with remote productions including a Boston Celtics broadcast is also included.
