The NAVY ELMR is geographically the largest, most complex ASTRO system in the world. The San Diego Zone Core System Manager will be responsible for the day to day activities of managing the M-Core Master Site for a multi-zone DSR system. That includes, but is not limited to, routine system checks, alarm monitoring, case management, system backups, patching support, engineering support, inter-zone support, DC (domain controller) maintenance, RF site troubleshooting, network troubleshooting, dispatch site troubleshooting, documentation, moving/lifting heavy equipment >50lbs. and system wide team collaboration. The NAVY ELMR San Diego Master Site System Manager must be capable of providing onsite support as needed at one of the many RF sites in the region or within the 911 Regional Dispatch Center. The System Manager will collaborate with other Field FSTs, Information Assurance, Engineering, and the NAVY SUA team to support patching, password rotation, system outages, system upgrades, and Engineering Change Requests as necessary.
