About The Position

The Navy GCCS Technician position at GVI, Inc. involves providing technical support and maintenance for the Consolidated Afloat Network and Enterprise Services (CANES) and other Command and Control Information (C2I) systems. The role requires a Secret Clearance and focuses on troubleshooting, system testing, and training ship's force technicians in the operation and maintenance of these systems.

Requirements

• US Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an Active Secret Clearance; candidates currently possessing an Active Secret Security Clearance are preferred.
• 6 years of hands-on experience in troubleshooting, assessment, and repair of shipboard networks and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support, system testing, inspections, and assessments for CANES and other C2I systems/equipment.
• Identify and correct anomalies related to installation, operation, maintenance, and connectivity problems.
• Provide onboard maintenance training to ship's force technicians on CANES operation, repair, maintenance, and logistics support.
• Perform functional checks and program review support of CANES and associated equipment.
