About The Position

Responsible for bringing the energy to T-Mobile Park all season long! Navigators improve fans’ overall experience with the Seattle Mariners by positively and professionally promoting and representing the Mariners brand at T-Mobile Park and in the community.

Requirements

  • Previous work experience in a customer-driven environment required.
  • Competent in required job skills and knowledge. Completes work assignments thoroughly and completely in an accurate, and prompt. Identifies and corrects errors. Is careful, alert and accurate, paying attention to details of the job.
  • Demonstrates through their actions and interactions with others a commitment to Mariner Purpose, Mission and Values.
  • Makes decisions and takes actions that contribute to exceptional experiences for guests.

  • Must be available to work at least 20 hours a week during homestands (March through October), including evenings, weekends and holidays, plus community appearances.
  • Indoor and outdoor work environment, subject to fluctuation in temperatures, exposure to the sun and elements.
  • Must be able to access assigned locations in T-Mobile Park including navigating concrete stairwells, ramps and concourses.
  • Must be able to move up to 35 lbs.
  • Shift lengths and call times can fluctuate based on changes to events and length of games.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior public speaking, broadcast, performance or entertainment experience preferred.
  • Comfortable driving company trucks and other vehicles preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in execution of on-field and in-park contests.
  • Act as host to various guests of the Seattle Mariners during their visit to T-Mobile Park.
  • Act as brand ambassador and point of contact for the Seattle Mariners at external events as part of the Mariners Street Fleet.
  • Assist with handling the Mariner Moose and Salmon Run Mascots as part of Park Ranger program both in ballpark on game days and at external community appearances and events.
  • Assist and execute in-game Mascot Race, wear costumes, maintain character and race on field in allotted time
  • Elevate late inning ballpark experience in high leverage situations, rallying the crowd on the dugout, operating lighting equipment, etc.
  • Promote upcoming games and events both at T-Mobile Park and in the community.
  • Assist with Community Relations initiatives including Mariners Care auction, external events and hosting community groups at the ballpark.
  • Comfortable driving company trucks and other vehicles preferred but not required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
