About The Position

FITT Scientific has a need to hire a database analyst to support PEO IE. This work supports the Business and Financial Management Branch with complex database analysis and report development for applicable business systems such as the Expeditionary Management information System (EXMIS), Navy ERP and/or other Accountable Property Systems of Record (APSRs). This financial management support includes but is not limited to providing analysis of complex data and database relationships based on analysis, make recommendations or brief discovered relationships in the data, developing and running queries from the "back end of the system" on an as-needed basis, writing new procedures to the MAXIMO platform for access from the "front end" for the end users, and guiding the end users with types of data and reports that can be garnered from the system to aid in the performance of the financial managers and program managers.

Requirements

Mastery of concepts and principles, practices regarding database structures and analysis methods
Ability to interpret, assess and project potential impact of database changes
A demonstrated expert level experience with Microsoft Access, SQL, MAXIMO, and COGNOS
US Citizen
Secret Security Clearance

Responsibilities

Provide complex database analysis and reports for Expeditionary business systems and processes
Develop and run queries for Expeditionary business systems, EXMIS (on the MAXIMO platform) Navy ERP and/or other APSR
create and implement procedures for Ex Dir and ExPO's business system, EXMIS (on the MAXIMO platform), Navy ERP and/or other APSR
create and implement procedures on the "back end" of MAXIMO for implementation and use by EXMIS and/or other APSR end users
