Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Naval or Commercial Pipe Welders are needed for projects in or around Norfolk, VA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $60/hour based on experience and skill level. Requirements

5+ years commercial/naval experience
Experience working in physically demanding environments shipboard sub-assemblies ladders staging etc.
Must have familiarity with OSHA regulations relative to the shipbuilding industry
Must pas various weld test
Fire-watch training

Responsibilities

Multipass
All positions using the SMAW and GTAW processes
All position fillet and butt welds using the SMAW Shielded metal arc process
Fuse inserts and weld carbon steel stainless steel and copper nickel pipe using the SMAW and GTAW Gas Tungsten Arc Welding processes
Mirror weld using the SMAW and GTAW process
