About The Position

The Senior Naval Architect will conduct, witness, and document tests including stability tests, speed, power, maneuvering, and seakeeping trials. The role requires experience with naval architecture software to solve complex problems regarding hull design, as well as knowledge of corrosion principles of metals for surface assets and boats. Familiarity with USN, USCG, IACS, and/or commercial ship design rules and regulations is essential.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years’ progressive experience in Naval Architecture disciplines.
• Experience with Navy, DoD, or U.S. Coast Guard shipbuilding programs preferred.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• A secret security clearance.
