SWCA Environmental Consultants is expanding our team and looking for Natural Resource Technicians with backgrounds in botany, ecology, wildlife biology, and/or environmental science to support our Salt Lake City, or Vernal, Utah offices. These are temporary, hourly positions that will support a variety of projects and field efforts throughout the Intermountain West with additional travel to locations in California, Nevada, Arizona, Texas, and Oklahoma. Our work is dynamic and covers a wide range of field data collection needs for research, industry, and federal agency clients. Candidates local to Utah (or neighboring states), familiar with flora and fauna of Utah, with 4x4 truck, ATV, and trailer towing experience are strongly preferred. Successful candidates will also need to be responsive to flexible scheduling needs and multi day overnight travel. The ability to pass a drug screening is REQUIRED.
