Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies or a related field.
• Entry-level position, with 0 - 8 years of experience in Natural Resources.
• Wetland delineation field experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Erosion and Sediment Control Training.
• Proficient in technical writing and computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with NEPA and SEQRA Environmental Review Policy.
• Familiarity with GIS software (ArcGIS, ArcMap).
• Experience with AutoCAD and GPS technology.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Environmental Group with natural resources projects.
• Conduct wetland delineation and plant identification.
• Review environmental resources for endangered species and historic resources.
• Perform environmental policy reviews for transportation projects.
• Familiarize with and implement Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP).
• Conduct fieldwork in various weather conditions and travel to project sites.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation.
