Collaborate with regulatory agencies. Collaborate with clients and internal engineers/designers to meet project needs while meeting regulatory requirements. Waterway Assessments: Geomorphic Assessments, OMWH and navigability determinations Threatened and Endangered Species Surveys and Permits: Presence/absence field surveys and reporting, coordination with WDNR/USFWS, preparation of Take Permits, assist with Biological Assessments Wetland Mitigation Banking: Assistance with pursuit, plan development, and approval process of wetland mitigation bank projects Wetland Monitoring: Annual monitoring and reporting of mitigation banks to assess establishment progress towards performance standards NEPA Documents Regulatory Violation Assistance: Assistance for clients who did not follow regulatory agency requirements. Provide guidance on how to rectify a situation with the agency Project Management and Client Relations Conferences: Possible presentation to discuss permitting and the regulatory process. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental or Biological Science or related field
  • Previous experience working with the regulatory agencies
  • Ability to travel for client meetings conferences as needed
  • Previous experience project managing
  • Live in the state of Wisconsin

Nice To Haves

  • WDNR Assured Wetland Delineator certification

Responsibilities

  • Wetland Delineations: Field work and reporting
