Natural Gas Service Technicians are integral members of our Construction Crews servicing, repairing, maintaining, installing and trouble-shooting Natural Gas lines and Equipment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 6+ months’ hands-on experience working in natural gas distribution field
• Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens
• Provide valid US work authorization documents for E-Verify
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Pre-employment medical fit-for-duty test; hold/obtain DOT medical card
• Satisfactory results of pre-employment background check results
• Join and maintain Union membership

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, install, and trouble-shoot problems concerning natural gas
• Relight residential customer gas service; perform hot changes
• Prepare work orders and other necessary paperwork
• Ensure proper maintenance is conducted for all tools, equipment and vehicles
• Attend safety meetings
• Maintain all industry required Operator Qualifications
• Other tasks as requested by leadership
