  • Provide expert policy and procedural guidance, advice, and authoritative technical knowledge.
  • Conduct research, develop alternatives, and make recommendations for formal or informal actions.
  • Identify peculiarities of problems or cases and recommend appropriate actions based on investigations.
  • Prepare and present oral and written testimony at public hearings and meetings.
  • Write results of work for inclusion in Commission testimony, memos, orders, and correspondences.
  • Read and interpret tariffs and utility analysis, drafting written recommendations or determinations.
  • Experience communicating with a variety of stakeholders using both written and verbal means.
  • Experience researching, interpreting, analyzing, and/or applying laws, rules, regulations, and/or program policy.
  • Experience working with current computer technologies for development, management, reporting or evaluation.
  • Experience developing guidance materials to aid others in understanding processes and procedures (preferred).
  • Experience with natural gas supply planning or natural gas construction and engineering principles (preferred).
  • Experience or training developing, implementing, or interpreting policies or procedures (preferred).
  • For advanced level: Experience leading multi-faceted projects; providing training, mentoring, and technical assistance related to natural gas supply planning, construction, or engineering; and experience with policy analysis.
  • Experience developing guidance materials to aid others in understanding processes and procedures.
