Assists with system patrolling. Learns about system maps and documentation. Walks or drives section of pipeline Right of Way. Learns about inspection, greasing, and operating mainline values. Learns to clean housings using appropriate methods. Learns how to replace damaged valves. Learns how to observe and inspect above ground piping and supports for corrosion. Learns to take wall thickness measurements. Assists with replacing damaged or broken line markers. Learns about odorant sampling. Learns about emergency responses. Develops the appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities to advance to NGO Technician 1 within two years of employment. Performs other duties as assigned.
