About The Position

We are looking for a Natural Gas Engineer to join our ICE Team to improve infrastructure in our Pittsburgh office. The candidate must have a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, and 10 plus years of similar work experience. Professional Engineer License is preferred. The candidate must also be self-motivated, work well with others, and have excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills. A flexible hybrid-remote work schedule is available after 30 days of employment. Typical responsibilities include: Experience with the design and construction of natural gas pipelines Monitor task budget and progress Work with and mentor junior design team Prepare computer-generated natural gas pipeline and mechanical working drawings Generate bill of materials Ability to work independently Create estimated time requirements for projects Coordinate with sub-contractors and vendors Conduct on-site field walks as needed Prepare project status and other reports Assist with the preparation of proposals Attend client, public, project and staff meetings including client progress, plan review, pre-construction, etc. Attend seminars and/or training classes Grow and maintain excellent client relations Maintain a safe working environment

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required
  • 10 plus years of experience required
  • Self-motivated
  • Work well with others
  • Excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills

Nice To Haves
