About The Position

The Software & Data Engineering Intern supports the development, testing, and maintenance of software applications and data pipelines. This position collaborates with cross-functional teams to assist in building, documenting, and deploying software and data solutions. The intern gains hands-on experience in both software development and data engineering, contributing to projects that enhance business operations and analytics capabilities.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or Engineering, required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Eagerness to learn new technologies and concepts
Attention to detail and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

Coursework or project experience in software development and data engineering, preferred
Familiarity with Python, SQL, and version control systems (e.g., Git), preferred
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Power Platform, preferred

Responsibilities

Assists in designing, developing, and testing software applications and data pipelines
Supports integration of third-party APIs and data sources
Collaborates with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
Documents code, processes, and data workflows for future reference
Participates in code reviews and team meetings
Assists with data cleaning, transformation, and validation tasks
Supports deployment and monitoring of software and data solutions
Assists in developing and integrating AI features into software applications
Supports deployment and management of applications on Azure Cloud services
Assists in creating and maintaining solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
Other duties as required
