About The Position

Hotel Equities, one of the premier hotel development and management companies in the industry, is currently searching for a National Wholesale Sales Manager. The National Wholesale Sales Manager is responsible for managing and growing wholesale (WH) accounts, with a focus on driving room night production and revenue through strategic partnerships. This role serves as a key liaison between internal departments and external partners, ensuring alignment on rates, promotions, and distribution strategies. The ideal candidate will possess strong language skills in Japanese or Korean, enabling direct communication and in-house translation support for key international markets. Requirements

  • Proficiency in Japanese or Korean (written and spoken), along with strong English communication skills
  • Ability to translate business and marketing materials accurately without external support
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hospitality sales, wholesale, or a related field
  • Proven track record of managing wholesale or travel trade accounts and driving revenue growth
  • Experience working with international markets, preferably Japan and/or Korea
  • Strong understanding of wholesale distribution channels, dynamic pricing, and inventory management
  • Familiarity with contracting, rate loading, and promotional planning within wholesale segments
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities
  • Willingness and ability to travel for site visits, trade shows, and partner engagement

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop assigned secondary wholesale accounts to maximize production and revenue
  • Maintain regular communication with wholesale partners to ensure alignment on promotions, rates, and inventory
  • Identify opportunities to grow market share within wholesale segments and implement strategic initiatives
  • Conduct site inspections for wholesale accounts in the absence of the National Director of Wholesale
  • Serve as a liaison between operations, sales, marketing, and revenue management teams to ensure seamless communication and execution of strategies
  • Support and execute dynamic distribution strategies in collaboration with revenue management
  • Represent the company at trade shows, sales missions, and partner events to strengthen relationships and expand business opportunities
  • Provide in-house translation (Japanese or Korean) for sales and marketing collateral, partner communications, and presentations as needed
