This national, travel‑heavy role supports customers anywhere in the Continental U.S., delivering high-level maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability improvements on complex electro‑mechanical equipment and control systems. What you'll do Perform advanced corrective and preventive maintenance: identify root causes, disassemble, inspect, adjust, repair/replace, and test mechanical and electrical systems; recondition and repair machine tools. Evaluate and source parts and materials; recommend alternatives for cost and reliability gains. Independently execute maintenance aligned to industry standards and best practices. Partner with customer teams to optimize reliability programs and PM procedures. Operate machining equipment (lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools) and perform welding as needed. Comply with customer contractor codes of conduct, housekeeping, and safety requirements. Record work in service reports and management systems; capture observations and equipment performance data with clear written rationale. Guide and support junior technicians; provide leadership within project teams. Troubleshoot complex control systems, resolving software, hardware, and configuration issues. Use advanced maintenance technologies to collect performance data, identify trends, and advise on improvements. Engage in on‑the-job training and self-study to advance your technical career. Follow all safety policies and practices; maintain situational awareness and proactively flag unsafe conditions and behaviors.
