Job Description Summary National Strategic Customer Manager Are you seeking an entrepreneurial, empowering workplace that allows you to: • Develop a career track • Leverage your current skills in a challenging role • Work with an incredible team of people Sunbelt Rentals--the fastest growing rental business in North America--is seeking a National Strategic Customer Manager. The National Strategic Customer Manager increases the customer base / volume of Sunbelt’s Strategic Customer Program, with a concentration on a specified customer base. Develop and oversee the strategy and customer agreements and manage the team of strategic sellers servicing this space. Involves, the coordination of sales calls with local, regional or national sellers on Strategic Customers within the defined space. Additionally, requires development of relationships with the targeted Strategic Customers within their assigned territory with the goal of becoming the “first call” with these customers. This role will also manage team performance of Regional Strategic Customer Managers servicing the space. This role requires extensive local and overnight travel.

Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent work experience
  • 6-8+ years in Outside Sales or Sales Management role
  • Ability and willingness to travel 75% to 85%
  • Ability to incorporate the Specialty Businesses into their presentations and product offerings
  • May work remotely from home or from the local Sunbelt PC’s so no relocation required
  • Wynne RentalMan experience preferred but not required
  • The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 25 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
