Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Representative in the hospitality industry
  • Competent knowledge of MS Office
  • Familiarity with Delphi
  • Ability to build productive business professional relationships
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to understand and address customer needs
  • Customer service skills to listen to the concerns of a customer and be able to address their needs
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with a wide variety of people each day, build relationships and network
  • Confidence and strong self-assuredness to succeed in cold-calling customers and generating new business
  • Strong persuasion skills to clearly communicate product and service benefits
  • Excellent prioritization, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Strong relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and the ability to understand and apply contract policies.

Responsibilities

  • Present, promote, and sell lodge amenities and services using persuasive sales techniques to existing and prospective customers.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Qualify existing and prospective customers to understand their business needs and demonstrate how lodge features provide solutions.
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling and follow-up activities.
  • Resolve customer problems and complaints promptly to maximize satisfaction.
  • Achieve agreed sales targets and outcomes within established timelines.
  • Meet agreed activity goals and performance metrics within schedule.
  • Develop and execute written and verbal sales action plans to drive revenue.
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Analyze market’s potential, track sales and status reports
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and promotional trends.
  • Continuously improve through feedback
  • Negotiate prices and terms and prepare sales agreements
