The National Sales Consultant is a sales guide accountable for boosting revenue through proactive customer interaction, consultative selling, and account oversight. This job entails handling a designated territory or customer segment, uncovering new business possibilities, improving existing partnerships, and guaranteeing customer satisfaction across the complete sales lifecycle. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, technology-fluent individual with a solid foundation in solution-oriented sales and enthusiasm for delivering value to customers. What You'll Do Here: Develop and carry out strategic sales plans to achieve or surpass revenue goals across assigned accounts or territories. Identify, qualify, and transform new business opportunities through proactive outreach and consultative engagement. Manage and grow existing customer relationships, ensuring high levels of happiness, retention, and expansion. Conduct virtual sales calls, product demonstrations, and solution consultations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, customer success, implementation, and product specialists to support customer needs and drive adoption. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM systems, including customer interactions, pipeline status, and forecasting. Participate in conferences and virtual events to promote products and build relationships. Provide post-sale support and coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and implementation. Stay current on product offerings, industry trends, and competitive landscape. Skills You'll Need Here: (Required) 1+ years of successful experience in sales, account management, or customer-facing roles. Demonstrated capability to achieve sales goals through consultative and solution-focused selling approaches. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to persuade and establish rapport with a variety of collaborators. Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and digital communication tools. Self-starter with a high degree of initiative, adaptability, and resilience. Preferred Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, or education. Experience in education, publishing, ed tech, or digital learning environments. Knowledge of specific market segments such as K–12, libraries, or career and technical education (CTE). Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location.
