National Real Estate Intern - Summer 2026

IMA Financial GroupDenver, CO
10d$18 - $22Hybrid

About The Position

Interns at IMA are a big deal! We understand how significant your decision on where to spend an internship is and what a positive experience can do to catapult your career. The best experiences provide true immersion in a company’s culture, access to and networking with senior leaders and industry experts, opportunities to apply what you learn through real work that drives real results, and a fun and engaging cohort to share the experience with! With this in mind, we’ve crafted our program to allow you to engage directly in our values driven culture through company, department, and cohort events, all while being challenged with a blend of learning programs, informative networking sessions with IMA associates, and opportunities to engage in department specific work projects that have real world impact for our clients, our business, and our associates. As an intern, your time will be divided between a core program shared with the entire cohort and specialized work, projects, and programming tailored to the department you join. National Real Estate is excited to announce an incredible opportunity for an intern in our 2026 summer program! This role offers the chance to gain valuable experience at the Denver office, operating on a hybrid schedule, working remotely on Mondays and Fridays and onsite Tuesday through Thursday. Daily responsibilities will include: Assist with pre-renewal preparation during peak season, including entering and updating information in premium, loss, and analysis workbooks with a high degree of accuracy. Review certificate of insurance requests, coordinate instructions with the certificate team, process invoicing requests with real estate accounting, and maintain key trackers and surplus lines documentation. Support routine policy operations such as policy processing, issuing Auto ID cards, and helping with endorsement processing in a virtual, fast-paced environment. Perform extensive Excel-based work—updating datasets, tracking changes, and completing detailed data entry—requiring meticulous attention to detail and consistent 24-hour turnaround. Contribute to a collaborative team culture by demonstrating reliability, a genuine desire to help, and a “yes—how can I support?” mindset that builds strong working relationships. We’re proud of the success many of our former interns have had when they’ve pursued careers as IMA associates’ post-graduation and see our internship program as a key talent pipeline. Because of this, preference is given to students closer to graduation, who demonstrate a curiosity about future employment within our industry.
