About The Position
COURIER seeks a National Opinion Editor to join its national division. Reporting to the Managing Director of COURIER National, the National Opinion Editor will help build and maintain a robust slate of mission-aligned partnerships, facilitate collaborative relationships with external partners, execute the team’s video and print op-ed program, including taking the lead on editing and fact-checking, and assist the national team in executing its editorial priorities. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starter with connections on the Hill, an eye for content, and a drive for political journalism who is looking to grow into an editor role at a fast-paced and growing new media outlet. Candidates local to the D.C. area are preferred but not a requirement.
