About this role: Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network (FiNet) is seeking a Head of FiNet Advisor Engagement & Growth to serve as a senior executive and member of the FiNet Management Committee within our fast‑growing independent advisor business. This role is responsible for setting and executing the national relationship management strategy for FiNet, with a focus on practice and advisor engagement, retention, growth, and long‑term satisfaction. The Head of FiNet Advisor Engagement & Growth will provide enterprise‑level leadership over FiNet’s relationship management model, directly managing four FiNet Divisional Leaders, who in turn lead regional relationship management teams. This role reports directly to the President of FiNet and works in close partnership with senior leaders across Sales, Recruiting, Supervision, Marketing, Operations, and Wealth & Investment Management (WIM). This leader will ensure consistent delivery of the FiNet Advisor Engagement Model nationwide while continuously evolving the model to support scale, advisor complexity, and growth ambitions. In this role, you will: National Leadership & Strategy Lead and evolve the national vision, strategy, and operating model for relationship management across FiNet, ensuring alignment with FiNet’s growth objectives and the broader WIM organization Serve as a senior thought partner to the President of FiNet, providing insight on advisor sentiment, engagement trends, retention risks, and growth opportunities. Act as an executive ambassador for FiNet with key independent advisory business owners and enterprise stakeholders. Divisional & People Leadership Directly lead and develop four FiNet Divisional Leaders, ensuring consistent execution of engagement standards while allowing flexibility for regional market dynamics. Build a strong leadership bench by fostering a culture of talent development, accountability, and continuous improvement across the national relationship management organization. Establish clear performance expectations, success metrics, and development pathways for divisional and senior relationship management leaders. Advisor Engagement & Growth Own national accountability for advisor engagement, retention, satisfaction, and organic growth across the FiNet platform. Ensure consistent execution of minimum contact standards, practice engagement requirements, and data‑driven accountability for advisor outcomes. Personally manage and maintain relationships with a select group of strategically important or complex FiNet practices, as appropriate. Co-lead and coordinate National, Divisional and Local meetings with groups of FiNet business owners and advisors to foster growth, engagement and knowledge expansion. Enterprise Collaboration & Issue Resolution Partner closely with National Sales, Recruiting, Supervision, Marketing, and broader WIM leadership to deliver a seamless, coordinated advisor experience. Support the design, rollout, and communication of key strategic initiatives impacting FiNet advisors nationally. Operating Model & Continuous Improvement Evolve the FiNet Advisor Relationship Manager model to support scale, advisor sophistication, and national consistency while preserving a high‑touch experience. Leverage data, advisor feedback, and market insights to continuously refine engagement strategies and service delivery. Maintain deep expertise in the Wells Fargo Advisors and FiNet platforms, products, and services to ensure relevance and credibility with advisors.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of wealth management advisor engagement, relationship management, or leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • 7+ years of people leadership experience, including managing senior leaders or leaders of leaders.
  • Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position.
  • FINRA Series 7 and 63 examinations, or equivalent must be completed within either a 90 or 180-day time period following commencement of employment, depending upon the number of license(s) needed if not immediately available to transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted. This will be communicated at time of offer acceptance.
  • Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatory.
  • In addition to state registration and licensing requirements, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply.
  • Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards.
  • Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA licensing review process at the time of offer acceptance.
  • For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite is required
