Interface is looking for a National DOD Military Director to manage the strategic growth and development of the US Government and DOD Military end user customer base. This growth will be focused on Interface’s products and turn-key offerings. This position can be based anywhere in the US. The National DOD Military Director will lead Interface to achieve our Vision: to become viewed by the US Government and DOD Military as the most trusted and reliable flooring systems supplier. The growth opportunity for all Interface brands is potentially the largest of all Market segments. The National Government DOD Military Director will work directly with the Head of Turnkey Strategy and Implementation to unlock this potential, by driving a specific customer development strategy. They will build out detailed Market sales process. Also, they will mentor AEs as they support the development of the top influencers within specific Turnkey/Segment accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • US DOD Military End user sales experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Development and implementation of National DOD Military sales plan.
  • Achieve a continuous increase in sales activity with the end user customer group.
  • Create and implement Account Development strategy for a defined group of Turnkey/Segment accounts: 4PL Partners and DOD Branches of Government.
  • Mentor Account Executives with the objective of improving yours and their sales effectiveness in DOD Military activities.
  • Promote consistency with Account Executive implementation of the DOD Military Sales process.
  • Work collaboratively with Marketing leader to grow the Interface brand within the Market.
  • Develop and Implement regional network strategy, including industry Association involvement, sponsorship and effective trade show strategy.
  • Continually monitor specific market developments, provide market information, and forecasts as appropriate.
  • Utilize Salesforce as a daily planning and measurement tool.
