This job is primarily responsible for identifying system issues, bugs and potential improvements to the claims system.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent or equivalent training and work experience.
• 7 years crop insurance claim experience of proven professional work.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record to meet company requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in business, management or agriculture or computer-related degree.
• 3+ years of crop insurance claim system development.

Responsibilities

• Develop workgroups to identify system bugs/issues, potential improvements and required updates/changes.
• Serve as the information conduit between Field Claims and IT.
• Provide technical expertise to IT in the areas of claim policy and procedure.
• Develop claim reports to identify and show key claim metrics.
• Work with the BA and Product Owner to ensure the claim system is functioning accurately and properly.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with the ACSs, RCMs and other departments.
• Develop and maintain an understanding of the MPCI and Private Product claims and policy systems.
• Provide guidance and serve as a technical resource for IT and Field Claims.
• Oversee and actively test system improvements, fixes and updates.
• Collaborate with regional personnel to develop and implement a comprehensive rollout plan for major improvements.
• Develop and provide training programs for MPCI and Private Product claims and policy systems.
• Promptly communicate with IT to identify potential system improvements and bugs.
• Provide updates to Claims Management regarding system improvements and issues.
