About The Position

The National Distribution Manager will lead and optimize the company’s national distribution channel for electronic components. Build and manage relationships with distributors, ensure product availability and compliance, drive sales growth through channel strategies, and coordinate logistics, inventory, and marketing support to maximize market coverage and profitability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in electronics distribution, channel management, or supply chain with progressive responsibility; national channel management experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success managing distributor networks and driving channel sales growth.
  • Ability to travel nationally up to 40%.

  • Strong commercial negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Deep understanding of electronics components market, distribution models, inventory management, and OEM/EMS/end-customer dynamics.
  • Excellent analytical skills (forecasting, KPI metrics, pricing/margin analysis) and proficiency with ERP/CRM systems and Excel; experience with distributor portals/EDI a plus.
  • Project management and cross-functional leadership.
  • Clear communicator with strong relationship-building and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a nationwide channel strategy for distributors, reps, and wholesalers to meet sales, margin, and market-share targets.
  • Manage distributor relationships: selection, onboarding, contract negotiations, channel policies, pricing, and performance reviews.
  • Create and implement partner programs to drive adoption and sales of product lines.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Supply Chain and Finance to align forecasts, promotions, new product introductions, and inventory allocation.
  • Monitor distributor inventory levels, lead times, and demand signals to minimize stockouts and excess; coordinate corrective actions.
  • Analyze channel sales point of sales data and market trends; deliver regular business reviews and actionable insights.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, export, anti-counterfeit, and quality requirements across channel partners.
  • Lead cross-functional projects to improve channel efficiency, digital enablement (portals/EDI), and reporting.
  • Oversee order routing, fulfillment priorities, returns, RMA policies, and service-level agreements.
  • Contribute to short‑ and long‑term sales forecasting.
  • Identifying upside/downside risks in the pipeline and communicating them to Sales Management, Operations, and Demand Planning.
