About The Position

The National Automation Business Systems Manager is a high-impact role suited for a data-driven, results-oriented professional with a strong background in Information Technology, maintenance systems, maintenance sourcing and efficiency, automation supplier performance, and business systems optimization. The position is responsible for overseeing multiple business systems within Pratt Agriculture, including but not limited to: implementation and management of CMMS platforms across multiple locations, employee training on CMMS and SAP software, SAP purchasing functions, systems integration, and the management of the national spare parts program. The role also supports budgetary planning, reporting tasks, and develops presentations for internal stakeholders. Additional responsibilities with the Agriculture Division may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration.
  • Three years of experience in a leadership-level purchasing or procurement role.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred).
  • Three years of relevant technical experience in maintenance program administration.
  • Three years of experience in Information Technology or business systems support.
  • Proven ability to oversee the administration, infrastructure, and implementation of a CMMS system.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for analytics, reporting, and data modeling.
  • Experience with financial software and database management tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and presentation development.
  • Strong understanding of IT terminology, system architecture, and software integration concepts.
  • Ability to effectively teach and coach employees on new software applications.
  • Demonstrated success in leading CMMS implementation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose complex system issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to bridge communication gaps between technical and no-technical stakeholders and engage effectively at the C-suite level.
  • Strong leadership abilities, including motivating teams, delegate tasks appropriately, and driving projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Place orders with vendors for new machinery purchases.
  • Order spare parts using CMMS and SAP software.
  • Perform additional SAP purchasing or administrative functions as required.
  • Coordinate all purchasing activities with Pratt Agriculture controller.
  • Develop, implement and maintain a national standardized Spare Parts program to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Organize and standardize spare parts rooms at all facilities.
  • Manage cycle count programs across all locations to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Create and implement work instructions related to maintenance and spare parts processes.
  • Oversee the administration, infrastructure, and implementation of a CMMS system.
  • Manage CMMS system upgrades, patches, and related maintenance.
  • Regularly access CMMS system performance, troubleshoot system issues, and conduct diagnostic testing and procedural audits to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead the CMMS system rollouts and spare parts best-practice implementation at all locations.
  • Serve as the primary administrator for the division’s CMMS once implemented.
  • Teach, coach, and support employees on CMMS, SAP, and other software platforms.
  • Assist with budgetary planning and reporting as required.
  • Collaborate with Pratt’s marketing team to develop and prepare Pratt Agriculture presentations.
  • Coordinate with field technicians to ensure accurate and timely delivery of parts.
  • Provide national support to the Pratt Agriculture Management team as directed.
