The National Associate & Regional Director (NARD) will support the daily operations of the Howard University and PNC National Center for Entrepreneurship (“the Center”). The NARD will play a critical leadership role in advancing the mission of the Center by supporting program strategy, partnership development, and national coordination of entrepreneurship initiatives. The NARD will collaborate with campus partners, funders, faculty, and student leaders to promote business innovation, entrepreneurship education, and venture creation. This individual, who will report directly to the National Executive Director (NED), will serve as a critical broker between program funders, colleagues, students, the University, and the broader community. In this position, the NARD will assist the NED in the responsibility of managing the strategic and operations of the National Center including, working closely with Regional Directors in the center network, developing curriculum and programmatic activities, creating lecture opportunities for executives, managing and establishing relationships across the University and within varying sectors, creating program timelines, marketing of program outcomes, and any other related duties to help the success of the Center. In addition, the NARD will assist the NED in tracking quantifiable data and statistical evidence to qualify the success of the Center. This will include tracking student and entrepreneur success and recommend ways in which improvements could be to assure the success of the Center. The NARD will also assist the NED in formally planning, assigning, directing, and coordinating the work of the Center employees.
