CACI is looking for a Guidance, Navigation, Control, and Propulsion (GNCP) Flight Software Verification Engineer with Python and GNCP experience to perform software requirements verification for the Artemis 3 and future mission Orion Spacecraft Flight Software (FSW). This position involves implementing, executing, and evaluating results of Orion spacecraft FSW verification test cases and is located at the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. Orion is NASA’s next generation crewed spacecraft that will rendezvous with the Human Landing System (HLS) in Lunar orbit during the Artemis 3 mission, the first crewed lunar landing since Apollo 17 in 1972. The HLS will transport astronauts to the surface of the moon. Future Artemis missions will rendezvous and dock with the Lunar Gateway station. This position requires a self-motivated engineer possessing strong verbal and written communication skills. In addition to outstanding technical expertise, the individual must be very people savvy, have strong customer relationship skills, possess a positive team-player attitude, be flexible and willing to take on new assignments and responsibilities as they arise, and be an articulate speaker able to communicate complex technical ideas in a convincing manner. The individual must share our passion for our Nation's Space Program and share in the excitement of developing the next human-rated space vehicles.
