About The Position

We are seeking safety minded team members with an attention to detail for a Napkin Printing Support/ Alar Operator opportunity on 2nd shift (3p - 11P) in Montoursville, PA. This position supports the business through operation of the Alar waste water system. Secondary functions are to support and assist the napkin printing department to promote a smooth operation and maintain good housekeeping.

Requirements

Ability to understand basic written and oral instructions.
Ability to perform basic math.
Ability to communicate with management and coworkers in order to meet departmental goals.
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior manufacturing experience required: 6 months
Obtain Unique Industries certification in powered walkie stacker.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be frequently standing, walking, and using repetitive hand motions.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally be sitting, reaching/working overhead, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to intermittently climb a set of stairs while carrying up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Alar printing water waste system operations.
Running the floor scrubber in the printing department
Operating the Anilox cleaner for Plate and Napkin Printing department
Cleaning parts as needed and helping with any and all other duties as requested.
Using a hand jack or powered hand jack to remove finished skids of product from the packaging area.
Check the operation of the metal detector on each napkin printer / packager and log the check.
Assisting in any manner as needed to enhance work flow in the department.
Completing all tasks in a safe manner.
