About The Position
Machine Operator position on 2nd shift in the Napkins Department. PRIMARY DUTY Effectively operates and monitors machines in production department.
Requirements
- Ability to work as a team leader.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work in a fast paced distribution environment.
- Ability to communicate with management and coworkers in order to meet departmental goals.
- Ability to understand written and oral instructions.
- Ability to perform basic math
- 1 year prior experience and/or training in the distribution/manufacturing environment preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Continued education preferred.
Responsibilities
- Starts, stops, and clears jams from the equipment.
- Changes labels or wrapper film as needed.
- Maintains product quality.
- Accurately completes required paperwork and cycle counts.
- Exhibits a professional manner in dealing with others, and works to maintain constructive working relationships.
- A commitment to company-wide quality and safety is required.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
