About The Position

A bit about us: We are a calm, active family on Mercer Island seeking a loving, reliable nanny for our infant. Both parents work a hybrid schedule, sometimes from home, and big brother (currently 3yo) goes to preschool full-time. We value creating a warm, supportive environment centered around our baby’s growth and development. Our baby enjoys walks, music, and story time, and we look forward to a nanny who will nurture these interests and help guide her through important early milestones. We also have a friendly, low-key Goldendoodle named Momo, who mostly keeps to herself. Our previous nanny was with us for three years, and we’re excited to welcome someone new for another long-term relationship. A bit about you: You are a kind, reliable, and organized nanny with several years of infant experience and a genuine love for supporting early development. You are attentive, patient, and bring a calm, positive presence to each day. You live within a reasonable commute and are seeking a long-term position where you can grow with a family. You are health-conscious and up to date on standard vaccinations. Bonus if you have experience with meal prep and enjoy sharing language or cultural experiences. Job Duties: Your primary focus will be providing attentive, nurturing care for the infant, including following her feeding, sleep, and play routines. During nap times, you will support child-related household tasks such as cleaning bottles, tidying toys, and preparing simple meals as she grows. You’ll engage her in age-appropriate activities like walks, reading, and interactive play to support her development.
