About The Position

A warm and welcoming family in the Kirkwood area of Atlanta is seeking an energetic, engaging, and nurturing nanny to care for their infant, due in late August (with care beginning around late December). They are looking for a highly active, “physical” nanny who is passionate about child development and enjoys being hands-on—someone who will prioritize tummy time, reading, sensory play, outdoor walks, and actively narrating and engaging with the baby throughout the day. The ideal candidate is fun, silly, and loving, while also being knowledgeable or willing to assist with sleep training and establishing healthy feeding routines, including support with bottle feeding and preparing purées as the child grows. A Spanish-speaking nanny is a major plus. Responsibilities include child-related tasks such as washing bottles, managing and stocking the diaper station, taking out diaper pails, and supporting the baby’s physical and developmental milestones, along with light housekeeping and family laundry (no dishes required). The family values someone who is open-minded, globally aware, and naturally warm and genuine, who will feel like an extension of their family. Both parents work in hospitality, with heavier schedules Tuesday through Thursday, and are looking for flexibility, including occasional weekends, date nights, travel, and potential overnights.
