Dream Nannies is seeking a calm, confident, and organized Nanny/Household Manager for a blended family with school-aged children. This role is best suited for a patient, fair, and emotionally intelligent caregiver who can provide structure, consistency, and warmth while confidently maintaining boundaries. Care involves multiple children with varying personalities and needs. This blended household values fairness, calm leadership, and emotional safety. The nanny should be able to manage sibling dynamics thoughtfully, redirect behavior appropriately, and use firm but respectful discipline strategies. Screen time is structured and earned, and caregivers should be comfortable enforcing limits while offering positive alternatives. The family is seeking someone who can read the room, adapt to different emotional needs, and create a sense of stability and security in the home. The position averages approximately 30 hours per week, with a split schedule that includes early mornings and afternoons on select weekdays. Occasional late nights or overnights may be needed a couple of times per month. This role leans heavily toward household management during downtime and is ideal for a candidate who enjoys keeping a home running smoothly. Household responsibilities include family laundry, unloading and reloading the dishwasher, light surface cleaning and home maintenance, organization projects, running errands, meal prep and cooking family meals, restocking household items, taking out trash, and managing children’s transportation to and from activities. The home includes two dogs, so light pet care such as feeding, letting them outside, and ensuring water bowls are filled is required. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with holiday planning, birthday parties, vendor coordination, letting service providers into the home, and communicating household needs proactively. The ideal candidate is organized, emotionally grounded, proactive, and comfortable stepping into a true household manager role. Strong communication skills, reliability, and flexibility are essential.
