About The Position

Full Time live-out or weekday live-in Nanny/House Manager required for a Scarsdale family with a daughter and a son (b. 2019 + 2021), starting January 2026 onwards. Specific duties to be negotiated with the family, but in general, you will be responsible for all child related duties including helpful + warm support and able to interact with their children in a caring and age appropriate way. The children love arts and crafts, cooking and other fun games to do at home! The ideal candidate is able to be a proactive and helpful presence, complete light housekeeping duties (laundry, meal preparation, organization, etc) (family does have a housekeeper x2 a week) when the kids are in school and maintain all common areas in a clean and tidy state. To be successful, you will need to be a strong communicator, organized team player and take initiative to assist the family with general household support. Candidates looking to partner with a busy, dual working parent household would be a great match for this family! The family is looking for a long term commitment and will welcome their Nanny into a happy and loving home environment. Excellent driving skills and clean driving record is essential for this role. Nanny will be responsible for driving the children to and from school, as well as to any extracurricular activities. The newest addition to the family is their 10 pound mini cavapoo, Biscuit. He is hypo allergenic, will reach 15-20 pounds max.

Requirements

  • Authorization to work in the US
  • An ideal candidate has at least 3-5 years experience working with families with young children
  • A well-suited demeanor + recent experience working with children
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English
  • Clean driving record and proven experience transporting children safely
  • Exceptional childcare references that attest to strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, and high emotional intelligence
  • Comfortable with pets

Responsibilities

  • Child related duties
  • Light housekeeping duties (laundry, meal preparation, organization, etc)
  • Maintain all common areas in a clean and tidy state
  • Driving the children to and from school, as well as to any extracurricular activities
  • Maintaining the children's rooms, drawers, laundry, (ironing when needed) preparation of meals and cleanup
  • Straightening bedroom, set table for dinner
  • Simple dinner setup for when both home
  • All walks and his general weekly routine fall under this role (dog)
