About The Position

The NANA Works Manager is responsible for overseeing the NANA Works program, which aims to enhance employment opportunities for NANA Shareholders through workforce development initiatives. This role involves strategic planning, daily operations management, and collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure effective communication and successful employment outcomes for Shareholders. The Manager will lead a team of Placement and Opportunity Coordinators, facilitate training programs, and build relationships with external organizations to support Shareholder career advancement.

Requirements

  • Must be a NANA Shareholder.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, organization management, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in recruiting, staffing, HR, workforce development, or related fields.
  • 3 years of supervisory experience managing 3 or more employees.
  • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of HR personnel practices and principles.
  • Excellent planning, time management, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall NANA Works Program, including strategic planning and daily operations.
  • Hire, train, develop, and evaluate a team of Placement and Opportunity Coordinators.
  • Ensure effective communication of employment opportunities and training programs to Shareholders and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to maintain the functionality of the Talent Bank system.
  • Build and nurture relationships with Shareholders for successful placements and referrals.
  • Manage employer information and job openings in the Talent Bank.
  • Develop training programs and workshops to address skill gaps for Shareholders.
  • Conduct outreach to educational institutions to promote NANA's programs.
  • Evaluate workforce development programs through data analysis and feedback collection.
  • Participate in recruiting trips, career fairs, and Shareholder meetings.
