About The Position

The Named Account Manager at Fortinet is responsible for driving direct sales engagements within a designated territory, focusing on both existing accounts and new prospects. This role involves creating and implementing strategic territory plans, developing executive relationships, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver winning proposals and contracts. The position aims to promote Fortinet's leadership in Unified Threat Management while achieving quarterly sales goals.

Requirements

  • Experienced Sales professional with an expert understanding of the technology business sector.
  • Previous experience designing business plans and market strategies to increase sales.
  • Experience in selling solutions.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Excellent presentation skills for different audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to move deals through the selling cycle.
  • Motivated, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Previous experience in network security and familiarity with technologies such as VPN, Firewall, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, Intrusion Prevention, and Content Filtering.

Responsibilities

  • Drive direct sales engagements into a set of Named Accounts within your assigned territory.
  • Create and implement territory plans to achieve deployments of Fortinet solutions to assigned accounts and new logo prospects.
  • Develop executive relationships with key buyers and influencers to achieve quarterly sales goals.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to deliver winning contract bids, proposals, RFI/RFP responses, and Statements of Work.
  • Negotiate terms of business with clients to achieve mutually beneficial results and long-term partnerships.
  • Build and promote the Company's position as the worldwide leader in Unified Threat Management.
