About The Position

As Codan’s Cyber Security Administrator – North America (NAM), you will support the North America region with a strong focus on cyber security operations and services. Reporting locally to the IT Lead – North America, with a functional reporting line to the Head of Cyber, this role works closely with regional and global teams to ensure secure, reliable, and compliant technology services. You will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of cyber security platforms, incident triage, vulnerability management, and regional security escalation. The role balances business-as-usual cyber operations with project support and continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to Codan’s global cyber posture.

Requirements

  • You are a motivated cyber security professional with experience in security operations and platform support, who enjoys working in a global, collaborative environment.
  • With a degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience—you bring strong technical capability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • You are comfortable working across geographically dispersed teams and communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • You align strongly with Codan’s values of Can Do, High Performing, Customer Driven, and Trust and Integrity, and are eager to contribute to improving cyber security outcomes across the organization.
  • The role may require travel and you must hold, or be eligible to obtain, appropriate North American security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide business-as-usual (BAU) support for cyber security applications, including moves, adds, and changes in line with agreed SLAs.
  • Support and troubleshoot security platforms, including EDR, endpoint patching, web filtering, firewalls, and identity security solutions.
  • Act as the regional escalation point for cyber security incidents and platform issues.
  • Perform security incident triage when required and support investigations and remediation activities.
  • Assist with vulnerability management, risk reporting, and operating system and application patching.
  • Support the delivery of cyber security projects and review broader IT initiatives through a cyber security lens.
  • Monitor cyber security vulnerability and threat intelligence relevant to the North America region.
  • Collaborate with global cyber, IT, and business teams to ensure alignment with Codan’s security standards and practices.
