About The Position

The Nail Technician at Omni Hotels & Resorts is responsible for providing high-quality nail services to guests at the Idlewild Spa. This part-time role emphasizes guest satisfaction, adherence to sanitation standards, and collaboration with the spa service team to create a relaxing and rejuvenating experience for clients. The technician will also promote spa services and maintain equipment and inventory levels.

Requirements

  • Nail or Cosmetology License
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in nail therapy
  • Compliance with State Board sanitation/sterilization procedures
  • Meticulous cuticle cleanup and overall finish work
  • Team player with high personal standards and values
  • Excellent client care and attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills
  • Flexibility and willingness to work flexible shifts, including holidays and weekends

Responsibilities

  • Provide the highest quality nail service treatment and professional concept.
  • Work as part of the Spa service team to provide the highest possible standard of treatment.
  • Uphold sanitation and sterilization standards as directed by law and spa policies.
  • Support Omni Safe and Clean protocols throughout the spa.
  • Begin and end treatments at the published time, ensuring correct procedures are followed.
  • Care for equipment and tools properly and use products efficiently to assist with cost controls.
  • Have complete knowledge of all nail services and products, educating guests accordingly.
  • Ensure treatment rooms are fully stocked and inventory levels are accurate.
  • Ensure guests receive a completed Professional Recommendation Form after each service.
  • Actively promote spa treatments, services, and retail products.
  • Set up nail stations and pedicure thrones according to procedures and manage laundry disposal.
  • Communicate product and service benefits to guests confidently.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a quality work environment.
  • Attend and support training and staff meetings regularly.
  • Perform services as trained without personal interpretation of treatment applications.
  • Report maintenance problems to the appropriate authority.
  • Stay current with new treatments and products in the Spa industry.
  • Maintain client and spa business confidentiality and privacy.
  • Communicate occurrences involving staff or guests that require management attention.
  • Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.
