About The Position

The Presales Support Specialist supports the NAGA (National and Government Accounts) presales and sales teams by coordinating communications, managing proposal lifecycles, and ensuring compliance for state, local, federal, and national account opportunities. This role reviews RFXs, contract terms, and business requirements; identifies clauses requiring legal review; and collaborates with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, compliant proposals. The ideal candidate brings experience in proposals, government contracts, sales support, and customer service, with strong organizational and communication skills.

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience supporting RFXs, contracts, or sales operations.
  • Basic knowledge of contract administration in government or national accounts.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively.
  • Sound judgment with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and PDF editing tools.
  • Associate’s Degree; preferably in a business-related field or English.

Nice To Haves

  • Government contracting or proposal writing experience.
  • APMP or Shipley certification, preferred.
  • Experience with proposal management tools such as RFPIO or Loopio.

Responsibilities

  • Screen and assess bid opportunities and requests for contract information.
  • Respond to inquiries and ensure proper documentation, terms, and requirements for bids and orders.
  • Break down proposal opportunities and develop compliant templates and submissions.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of proposal processes and boilerplate materials.
  • Lead stakeholder calls and manage the full bid process from start to finish.
  • Identify and communicate risk‑related terms and conditions.
  • Manage team inboxes and ensure timely follow-up on all support requests.
  • Collect signatures and information needed to complete forms, contracts, and purchase orders.
  • Maintain the content library within RFPIO and SharePoint.
  • Track key departmental metrics, including bid status, portal activity, contract matrices, calendars, and KPIs.
  • Contribute to process improvements and best-practice development.
  • Support contract renewals and catalog updates.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date information on company websites, intranet, and partner platforms.
  • Deliver accurate, high-quality bid responses and process award/loss notifications.
  • Perform special projects and related duties as assigned.
