New Alternatives for Children, Inc. (NAC) is an innovative and comprehensive child welfare and social services agency that provides essential support to families with at least one family member who has a disability and/or chronic medical condition. Children and their families enter NAC's services through the city's foster care system, preventive services, or by way of community referral. All clients have access to a wide array of services including medical support, therapies, educational advocacy, housing assistance, recreational/cultural opportunities and intensive coaching. The NAC Futures program provides youth in NAC's Foster Care, Prevention, and Partners-in-Parenting (PIP) programs access to long-term coaching and robust academic, career development, and independent living support. The program seeks to increase graduation rates and post-secondary enrollment, preventing systems involvement, and helping young people to become successful adults. As a leadership position, the Supervisor will also help in the continual evolution of the NAC Futures program.
