Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a university pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Analytic, Data Analytics, Economic and Statistics.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the NA Category Support & Insights Analyst department team that serves customers, employees, and partners across North America and Canada.
• Collaborate with other Gordon Food Service interns and employees in various areas including Communications, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, IT, Marketing & Merchandising, and Supply Chain.
• Learn internal and syndicated data systems.
• Analyze data sets to identify product & regional business opportunities relative to market share and margin optimization.
• Build excel proficiency.
• Participate in organizational and team dynamics.
• Interact across categories and functions.
• Pursue ad hoc project(s) to explore category opportunities.
• Visualize data insights and observations.
• Develop presentation deck(s) to share 'the data story'.
