About The Position

Chariot Logistics is growing, and we’re looking for a motivated Night & Weekend Team Leader to join our expanding team! Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required (or equivalent freight brokerage experience).
• Experience in freight brokerage or logistics operations required.
• Proven ability to lead a team and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Business Suite.
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• A team-oriented mindset with the drive to contribute to Chariot’s success.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the night and weekend logistics operations team.
• Cover available freight and ensure loads are booked efficiently and profitably.
• Bid on available loads and negotiate rates with carriers.
• Track and trace freight to ensure on-time delivery and proactive communication.
• Update customers with real-time shipment status and issue resolutions.
• Maintain accuracy within the Transportation Management System (TMS) by updating all relevant load and carrier information.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless handoffs between weekday and weekend shifts.
