Hiring for our seasonal positions occurs on a rolling basis. Applications will be accepted until December 15th or until the positions are filled (whichever is first). My Epic gear is a new gear membership that provides all the benefits of owning gear, but with more choice, lower cost, and no hassle. Membership unlocks access to over 60 of the latest ski and snowboard models and the convenience of choosing in-resort delivery and daily slopeside pick-up & drop-off, at 12 North American resorts. All managed from the palm of your hand in the My Epic app. Job Summary: The My Epic Gear Associate is the face of the Member Services and Slopeside locations and acts as an ambassador to the My Epic Gear program. The Member Services and Slopeside locations are conveniently located throughout our resorts and offer our members a place to pick up their gear, request gear swaps, ask questions and assist members with making their reservations. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional guest service, strong organizational skills, willingness to learn multiple software programs, and the ability to work with a team or autonomously.

Requirements

  • Keen to learn new skills, open-minded, and can adapt to changing situations
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift 50lbs, and stand or kneel for 8 hours sometimes outside and in winter conditions
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule; weekends and holidays required

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service to our members at our Member Services and Slopeside locations.
  • Preparing and setting up the gear for upcoming My Epic Gear reservations
  • Assisting members during their reservations including ensuring proper fit of gear
  • Conducts transactions at front of house POS using various software programs at member services locations
  • Responsible for general cleanliness and organization of member facing areas including slopeside.
  • Assists with inventory control with My Epic Gear and Retail product
  • Assists in movement of gear to and from member services to slopeside locations and tune shops
  • Other duties as assigned
